Iowa 2014 On-Demand CLE: Recent Minnesota Decisions

3 Credits, Only $25

Iowa credit for this program is now expired. For 2015 Iowa on-demand CLE credit, please see The 2015 program.

On March 24, 2014, the Iowa Supreme Court amended the Iowa CLE rules to allow Iowa attorneys to receive up to six of their required 15 credits each year with "unmoderated programs." For more information, you can view the Supreme Court's Order or the Iowa CLE Commission's Guidelines.

The course shown on this page meets the new Iowa guidelines, and Iowa credit has been approved. This is 3.0 hour program, and you may take three hours to receive full credit. You may take this program at any time that is convenient for you. You can listen online or download to your computer or other device. On-demand CLE is a popular option in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and other states, and now Iowa attorneys can take advantage of them. The program on this page is also being offered for credit in Minnesota (4.0 credits approved) and Wisconsin (4.0 credits applied for). (The Minnesota-Wisconsin program includes an additional hour which is not being offered for Iowa credit. Minnesota or Wisconsin attorneys needing the extra hour can take the fourth hour at no additional cost at this link.)

The cost of the entire course (3 Iowa credits, 4 Minnesota or Wisconsin credits) is only $25. You may pay online or by mail.

To receive CLE credit, please follow these steps:

  1. Download the Affidavit of Completion. You will fill out this form as you listen to the program and return it at the conclusion of the program. The affidavit is available in two formats. To print the affidavit, it's best to use the PDF version. If you prefer to paste the text of the affidavit into a word processor or e-mail, it's best to use the text version.

  2. Download the course materials by following the following link:

Upon receipt of your affidavit, I will send you via e-mail a certificate of attendance. If you don't have an e-mail address, I can send this by U.S. Mail.
